Buyer question
Which AEO tools check your prompts every day?
Four of the eight trackers we checked on 19 October 2026 say on their own pages that they run tracked prompts daily: Profound on its free trial, Peec AI, Semrush and Ahrefs Brand Radar. Bungad does not. Each paid plan gets one scheduled check a month for each brand, plus 4, 20 or 100 checks you start yourself.

A tracker puts the same set of questions, often called prompts, to the AI engines on a schedule and records who was named. How often it does that is the cadence. Daily, weekly and monthly are all sold, and they answer different needs.

| Vendor | Cadence on its own page | Where we read it |
|---|---|---|
| Profound | Daily on the free trial: 50 fixed prompts, every day for 7 days. No cadence stated for Enterprise | Profound's own pricing page |
| Peec AI | Daily tracking is listed as a feature | peec.ai/pricing |
| Semrush | Daily: 50 prompts on Starter, 100 on Pro+ | semrush.com/prices |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | Daily, weekly or monthly, by choice | ahrefs.com/brand-radar |
| Otterly.AI, Scrunch, AthenaHQ, HubSpot AEO | Not stated on the pages we read | Their pricing or product pages |
| Bungad | Monthly: one scheduled check a month for each brand on every paid plan, plus 4, 20 or 100 checks a month that you start yourself. Daily runs are not built | Our own plans file |
Read this as what each vendor says, not what we tested. Every row except ours comes from that vendor's public page, read on 19 October 2026 without signing in, and we have used none of these products. "Not stated" means the page we read did not say; it does not mean the product has no daily option.
What a daily check would show you
We measured how much an answer moves when nothing in the world has changed. We put the same eight questions to Perplexity twice, about seventy seconds apart, and kept both records. The score, the mention rate, the citation share and the brands named in each answer came back identical, though the score was 0 in both runs, so there was little room for it to move. The sources underneath did not: individual domains gained or lost a citation or two.
So most of what changes from one day to the next is in the sources, not in whether you were named. A daily line will wobble even when nothing happened. That is not a reason to avoid daily data, but it is a reason to judge a change over several checks rather than one. How often to check works through the arithmetic.
When daily is worth paying for
- You are testing a change and want the answer this week. You rewrote a page and want to see when an engine first cites it.
- Your subject moves quickly. A launch, a news story or a price change can shift answers within days.
- You report to someone weekly. A monthly number gives you nothing new to show in three meetings out of four.
If none of those is true, a monthly check on a question set you never change is enough to see a trend, and it costs less.
What Bungad covers today
Perplexity is the only engine we track today. Live It is the only engine we hold an API key for. For ChatGPT and Claude the software is built, but we do not yet hold a key, so we do not measure them. Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are Planned.
Free is $0 with 1 brand and 5 questions. Starter is $99 a month, Growth $299 and Scale $799. The full list is on the plans page.
When Bungad is the wrong choice
- You need a daily line. We run each brand monthly. Buy a tracker from the table that runs daily.
- You need more than one engine every day. We cover Perplexity only, at any cadence.

Common questions
Which AEO tools track prompts daily?
Of the eight trackers we checked on 19 October 2026, four say so on their own pages: Profound on its free trial, Peec AI, Semrush and Ahrefs Brand Radar, which also offers weekly and monthly. Bungad runs each brand once a month.
Is daily AI visibility tracking better than monthly?
Only if you will act on it within days. When we put the same eight questions to Perplexity twice, about seventy seconds apart, the score (0 in both runs) and the brands named were identical but the sources moved. Daily data shows that movement; a monthly check on a fixed question set is enough to see a trend.
How often does Bungad check?
Every paid plan gets one scheduled check a month for each brand, plus 4, 20 or 100 checks a month that you start yourself. Daily runs are not built.
See whether Perplexity names you, free
Enter your domain. We ask Perplexity three of your buyers' questions and show you whether you were named and which domains the engine cited.
3 questions on Perplexity, free. A domain checked in the last week is served from that stored run rather than asked again, and the daily free allowance resets at midnight UTC.
